The event is hosted by Albemarle County Public schools. It will take place in the Forum at Monticello High School.
What
This conference is intended to facilitate connections between high school teachers in Virginia and to provide resources for teaching and professional development. Dr. James Freeman and Dr. Fred Smyth are our featured presenters. In addition, those in attendance will have opportunities to learn from each other throughout the day.
Costs and Benefits
The conference is offered for free through a grant from the organization Teachers of Psychology in Secondary Schools (TOPSS) the high school teacher affiliate group of the American Psychological Association (APA). Lunch will be provided with conference registration and several publishers and organizations have provided resources and sample materials for attendees.
Registration
Please fill-out and submit the Conference Registration Form to reserve your spot at the conference. Please complete registration by Monday, February 3 so that we can appropriately plan for space and food.
